To support and provide logistical pharmaceutical services in the Main Warehouse.
Distribution - Accurate and timely receipt, storage and delivery of medications to
the appropriate storage locations at intra and inter-units locations.
Inventory - Ensuring the storage conditions of all inventory orders are maintained
within the Manufacturer\'s recommended storage requirements especially cold chain items. Maintains accurate and appropriate inventories of medications with assigned audits such as cycle counts for pharmacy and end-user\'s unit inspections.
Technology - Appropriately deploy, manage and train subordinates and colleagues
on using new Logistical computer information systems, technology, and automation.
Regulatory compliance - Maintains a safe and clean work area by complying with
procedures, rules, and legal regulations. Documents regulatory requirements such as temperature logs, scheduled maintenance activities, and training in an accurate and timely manner.
Communication and teamwork - Demonstrate emotional control and intelligence in
managing work relationships. Actively participates in team huddles and meetings and student training.
Maintain safe working practices with adherence to clinical risk management/hospital
governance policies and recommendations including the reporting of incidences and near misses.
Involved in Saturday/Sunday and Public Holiday shift based on required needs and
shares responsibility for completing the team\'s tasks and goals and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma in Pharmacy
Minimum of five (5) years working experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
At least one year of hospital pharmacy inventory experience is preferable.
Working knowledge of a pharmacy inventory system and procedures related to
drug supply.
Basic computer skills.
Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and
verbal.
Ability to follow technical oral and written instructions with accuracy and to be self-
