About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on
Senior Process MOL (Wire Bond) Engineer
to join our manufacturing team in Ipoh. The successful candidate will be responsible for sustaining, optimizing, and improving theWire Bond process
, driving production efficiency, and ensuring yield performance meets company KPIs.Key Responsibilities
Sustain and improve the
Wire Bond Process
through continuous optimization and troubleshooting. Collect, analyze, and interpret production and test data to prepareengineering reports
for new and existing products. Monitor and maintainassembly yield
performance within KPI targets. Identify and implementprocess improvements
to reduce scrap and enhance efficiency. Conduct evaluations oftest/yield data
and implement necessary adjustments to process equipment. Program, troubleshoot, and maintainmanufacturing equipment
to achieve yield targets. Support engineering projects involvingsolders, epoxies, and new equipment installations
. Develop and updateManufacturing Work Instructions
, production routes, andEngineering Change Orders (ECOs)
. ApplySPC, Risk Management, and FMEA
methodologies to ensure process control and reliability.Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
inElectronics, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
. Experience inhigh-mix, high-volume manufacturing
environments is an advantage. Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills
in process engineering. Proficient inSAS JMP, Minitab
, andSPC tools
for data analysis. Hands-on experience inmachine troubleshooting
and process control improvement. Ability tolead, supervise, and guide
a team of process personnel. Adaptable, flexible, and able to perform under changing business conditions.Chinese speaking candidates
are preferred due to operational communication needs.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
