Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Purchaser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with AUTOCOUNT systems, possess strong negotiation skills, and have a background in construction.

Review, compare, and approve products and services for purchase.

Manage inventories and maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.

Maintain and update supplier information (qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.).

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while negotiating contracts.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.

Liaise with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and finance teams to align procurement with project requirements. Provide regular procurement status reports to senior management.

Review and approve purchase orders, contracts and agreements in compliance with company policies.

Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply availability to ensure competitive procurement.

Ensure timely delivery of materials, goods, and services to support operations.

Manage supplier performance, resolve disputes and evaluate vendor compliance.

Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing cost analysis and savings.

Negotiate contracts, purchase agreements, and payment terms to secure best value.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 5-8 years of procurement experience, preferably in

Construction

. Understanding of procurement processes, contract terms, and sourcing strategies.
Strong understanding of construction materials, equipment, subcontracting, and tendering processes.

Proven negotiation and leadership skills.

Excellent knowledge of AUTOCOUNT systems.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
