Communications Platform

team aims to empower and provide delightful communication experiences for our consumers and partners. We handle everything from ensuring our underlying comms delivery systems are stable and reliable, the internal tools for marketing and ops to create campaigns, the intelligent optimization layers, and all of our two-way comms channels. It's a large and exciting scope that touches every part of Grab.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a

Senior Product Analyst for Communications Platform team

to help Product teams be more data-driven and objective and guide the design of controlled experiments:

You will work closely with different teams within a business line (Product, Business, Engineering, Design and Data Science) to understand data requirements, identify key metrics, and provide data-driven insights. You will also work with stakeholders to evaluate the feasibility of new business/product ideas and provide appropriate recommendations. You will report to the Product Analytics Manager, and work onsite at the Grab Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Dive into data to align with business objectives,

recommending novel solutions, including AI-driven strategies to address key customer challenges.

Measure and analyze performance

across markets and business lines using data.

Develop analytical frameworks

for identifying common patterns in recurring hypotheses and problems.

Create models

that examine product configurations and explore interaction effects.

Monitor metrics, perform root cause analysis

on metric shifts, and report findings.

Design and implement experiments

to guide product decisions, including A/B testing, analysis, and recommendations.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

Bachelor's/Master's degree

in Analytics, Statistics, Software, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience

as a Data Scientist, Product Analyst, or relevant role.

Excellent English communications, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in SQL, Presto, ETL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, Excel.

Strong statistical knowledge and analytical skills

with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of data.

Knowledge of data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.

Proven track record in crafting analytics.

Excellent English communications, both written and verbal.
