Mission Details

• Improves production efficiency by analyzing and evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
• Facilitate the changes in the plant via MOC and assist in updating and maintaining PFD, PID, Layout drawing and shop floor drawing to support MOC, risk assessment and projects.
• Regularly performing HSE Risk Assessment of the production operations, in coordination with related parties and floor worker, in order to control the risk.
• Involve in production safety, health and environmental program such as BBS observation and barrier removal effort, open ended line monitoring and improvement, pre-start up safety review, job safety analysis for projects, environmental aspects impacts and etc.
• To control the SAP master set up, monitor the cycle time and update, yield monitoring. Ensure SAP timely movement to tally to physical stock.
• Oversee monthly production MUV, materials and utilities balance in SAP.
• To be responsible for overall operations of WWTP and ensure discharge complies with standard B as per legal requirement under EQA which requires competent person (CePIETSO) to manage all environmental issues related to WWTP and sewage discharge.
• Reporting to Operation Director on monthly Energy consumption(Inventory of Energy consumed) and cost savings related to energy
• To be responsible for the smooth operations of all the Utilities equipment.
• Responsible for Energy Efficiency Improvement Target for the production department on a yearly basis & have indicators.
• Ensure all plants including WWTP, utilities and machineries are effectively and efficiently maintained and in good working condition at all time, in order to minimize production down time thus achieving maximum productivity and cost efficiency.

Required Profile

• Degree in engineering disciplines or equivalent with at least 5 years of working experience in chemical unit plant operations.
• Good in AutoCad.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill.
• Reasonably good in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good knowledge of safe and effective chemical plant operations.
• Engineering knowledge of chemical process operational units.
