Lead the design process from concept to completion for architectural projects.
Translate client requirements into functional, innovative, and aesthetically pleasing architectural solutions.
Oversee all phases of design development, including schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate design presentations, meetings, and workshops with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Ensure client objectives, budgets, and timelines are met.
Supervise and mentor junior architects, designers, and CAD/BIM technicians.
Allocate tasks, review work, and provide technical and design guidance.
Coordinate with internal teams and ensure smooth interdisciplinary collaboration.
Prepare, review, and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Ensure designs comply with building codes, local regulations, zoning laws, and sustainability standards (e.g., GBI, LEED).
Oversee the integration of structural, M&E, and other specialist inputs into the architectural design.
Manage and coordinate with external consultants including engineers, quantity surveyors, landscape architects, etc.
Participate in tender reviews, contractor selection, and value engineering processes.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and resolve design-related issues.
Maintain high standards of design and technical quality across all project stages.
Ensure timely delivery of milestones in line with project schedules and budgets.
Provide strategic input during project feasibility studies and master planning exercises.
Assist in contract documentation and negotiations.
Respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, and issue architectural instructions during construction.
Monitor project changes and manage design variations or claims.
Requirements :
Degree in Architecture or any other related background.
Registered with LAM (Part III) or equivalent professional board.
Minimum 8 years of architectural experience.
Strong in design development, construction drawings, and project coordination.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and Microsoft Office.
Good knowledge of local building codes and authority submission processes.
Able to lead a team and manage consultants/contractors.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
