Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Manager with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

for the Kuala Lumpur office.

The ideal candidate will have a desire to grow Wood\xe2\x80\x99s presence in the region, and act as the main client interface, leading a team in delivering a portfolio of projects at various phases - pre-FEED, FEED, Baisc Engineering, and Detailed Engineering/EPC. Both Client-facing and Hands-on project delivery experience within the Petronas would be strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project manage and lead team/s to deliver a portfolio of projects from front end design, through to detailed design, procurement, construction, hand over and close-out.
• Overall responsibility for the cost, schedule and technical success of the project portfolio.
• Client/Stakeholder engagement and management
• Statement of Requirements throughout the phasing of the project from concept, detail design, and site implementation of the company quality management system for the project
• Implementation of the company quality management system for projects

Skills / Qualifications

Skills / Qualifications:

• Client engagement and business development
• Minimum 10 years direct Project Management experience managing EPC or EPCM Resources and Industrial related projects.
• Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills necessary to organise and lead a project team, develop design / implementation schedules and provide on-going status reports to the senior management team and clients.
• Hands-on and performance driven Senior Project Manager.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in engineering
• Demonstrated strong commitment to safety and implementation of strong change management practices.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral
