Join us as Senior Project Manager where you will be leading the execution of large and complex E-House, Oil & Gas and Offshore Wind project with international clients and ensuring that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments in Process Automation Energy Industries Business Area. Reporting to Project Operation Head, the role will be based in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.Your responsibilities Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring, controlling activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals Defining jointly with Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies. Effectively monitors and controls project progress and efficient resource utilization. Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow Identifying, qualifies, quantifies, and manages project risks, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued. Captures, analyzes, and shares lessons learned throughout the project. Ensuring that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed. Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer Ensuring that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements Coordinating with Supply Chain Management, and successfully procures all required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers. Supports Supply Chain Management in supplier negotiations, claims and project changes Acting as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders Ensuring the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies Coaching and providing feedback for project staff Your background Engineering graduate 15 to 20 years of project management experience Project Management certification (PMI/ABB certification) Excellent Written and verbal communication /presentation Experience in handling project teams and ability to engage and motivate people of different culture Knowledge and experience in other functions like Engineering, supply chain management along with strong project management skills Experience in handling complex E-House, electrification & automation projects in Oil & Gas / Offshore / FPSO segment Benefits Life insurance Accident insurance Paid Parental leave (gender neutral) Sick pay More about us ABB Energy Industries is enabling safe, smart and sustainable projects and operations for businesses across the oil, gas, chemicals, life sciences, power generation and water sectors.
