About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled

Senior Project Planner

with strong expertise in

Primavera P6

to support the successful delivery of large-scale construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives, and providing accurate reporting and insights to stakeholders.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules across all project phases using

Primavera P6

. Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, and other teams to gather inputs and ensure schedules align with project requirements. Monitor progress against baseline schedules, identify potential delays, and recommend recovery actions. Conduct

schedule risk analysis, critical path analysis, and resource loading/leveling

in Primavera. Prepare and present regular schedule reports, dashboards, and forecasts to management and clients. Integrate subcontractor and vendor schedules into the master schedule for consistency and accuracy. Maintain project documentation and historical data for lessons learned and continuous improvement. Support change management by evaluating schedule impacts of proposed variations. Ensure compliance with company standards, best practices, and contract requirements related to project planning.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Engineering, Construction Management

, or related field.

5-7 years' experience

in project planning and scheduling within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects. Expert-level proficiency in

Primavera P6

(mandatory). Strong knowledge of

project controls, Earned Value Management (EVM), and cost-schedule integration

. Familiarity with tools such as

MS Project, Excel, Power BI

is an advantage. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.

(baseline setup, resource loading, critical path analysis). Strong stakeholder communication and coordination abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting. Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate and resolve project challenges.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
