Job Description

The

Senior Project Planner

is responsible for leading the development, maintenance, and monitoring of project schedules to ensure successful delivery of construction, engineering, and infrastructure projects. This role requires

expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6

, strong analytical skills, and the ability to integrate schedules, track progress, analyze delays, and deliver accurate, timely reporting to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using

Primavera P6

across all phases of the project lifecycle (planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout). Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to gather inputs and align schedules with project objectives. Monitor project progress against baseline schedules, identify risks and potential delays, and provide early warning reports with recovery recommendations. Perform

schedule risk analysis, critical path analysis, and resource loading/leveling

in Primavera P6. Prepare and deliver regular schedule reports, dashboards, and forecasts for management and clients. Integrate subcontractor and vendor schedules into the master project schedule to ensure accuracy and consistency. Support change management by assessing the schedule impacts of variations or proposed changes. Maintain accurate project documentation, historical data, and lessons learned for continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with company standards, industry best practices, and contractual requirements related to planning and scheduling.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

. Minimum

5-7 years' proven experience

in project planning and scheduling within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.

Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6

(mandatory). Strong knowledge of

project controls, Earned Value Management (EVM), and cost-schedule integration

. Familiarity with other tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Power BI) is an advantage. Excellent

analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines with accuracy.
