To Prepare enquiries, purchase order & memo for local & oversea purchase
\xe2\x9c\x93 Fax & confirm the receipt of PO by supplier \xe2\x9c\x93 Follow up delivery of purchase & inform store/warehouse in advance * To source information from suppliers, negotiation with suppliers
for better commercial benefits, terms and conditions & cost control. * To check the quality of goods, pre-shipment sample
for lab test if required * To compare the chemical analysis between existing
stock and new source * To Inform final details on sourcing information to manager
Follow up closely with the shipping & forwarding agent on all
the import and export shipment * To Follow up with supplier on the shipment ETD &
ETA supported by the shipping documents * Liaise with forwarding agent on the delivery of
shipment arrival notice with the original shipping documents and delivery instruction(Some of the goods will be send to warehouse, store or direct to customer\'s premises) * To handle and follow closely trans-shipment and direct
shipment documentations between supplier and customer * Liaise with shipping and forwarding agent for better service for
the delivery and prove negotiating * Provide information on shipping & forwarding including
charges incurred to salesperson for better service to customer * To work closely with site officer for all purchase, complaints and shortage issues (make sure they follow the proper procedure and submit complete documentations to head office for process soonest possible)
To provide guidance to team members (purchasing dept) in the absence of Head of Department
Any duties assigned by the management from time to time.
Qualifications
Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance or equivalent.
Min. 5 years relevant purchasing working experience in trading company environment.
Possess strong command of written and spoken English and
Mandarin * Must be resourceful with strong sourcing, negotiation &
procurement skills; * Able to work independently and at a fast pace.
Knowledge in Shipping, Custom rules and practices.
Proficiency with office computer equipment and software.
