Sr Purchasing
to champion our sourcing efforts, optimize supplier performance, and drive significant cost savings across our operations.
What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
In this role, you will own the full procurement lifecycle, focusing on strategy, value, and efficiency:
Be the Strategy Architect:
Develop, plan, and execute robust purchasing strategies based on deep market analysis to secure the best value for the organization and align with company goals.
Be the Deal Maker:
Own the end-to-end supplier relationship. This includes
aggressive negotiation
, performance management, and conducting regular audits to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery.
Drive Financial Prudence:
Manage and control purchasing budgets, continuously identifying and implementing cost-reduction opportunities without sacrificing quality or delivery timelines.
Ensure Compliance:
Uphold strict adherence to all procurement SOPs, ethical purchasing practices, and company policies, maintaining comprehensive documentation for all contracts and purchase orders.
Lead Collaboration:
Act as the key procurement liaison, collaborating closely with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure seamless material flow and efficient execution of material needs.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a highly capable individual with the following specific requirements:
Minimum 5 years of dedicated procurement experience
, with a preference for candidates who have worked within a
manufacturing or industrial environment.
System Proficiency:
Demonstrated proficiency in
ERP/SAP systems
and advanced competence with
Microsoft Excel
for analysis and reporting.
Core Competency:
Exceptional
negotiation and contract management skills
with a proven ability to secure favorable terms and pricing.
Analytical Skills:
Strong ability to conduct market analysis, evaluate supplier performance, and drive continuous process improvements.
Integrity & Autonomy:
Possesses a strong sense of ethics, integrity, and the ability to
work independently
with high attention to detail.
Highly Preferred
Language Skills:
Proficiency in Mandarin
is highly preferred, as the role requires regular and detailed communication with Mandarin-speaking partners and suppliers.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
