Family Description:
Performs functions associated with quality control and quality assurance operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks and carrying out rework and quality assurance procedures related to production or operations. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate data to assist in assessing and documenting results of quality assurance and control processes. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures for quality assurance and control. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

Displays general knowledge of department operations and procedures and some knowledge of relationship with other departments and their systems.
Uses judgment to determine most efficient order of activities to achieve established objectives and assigned deadlines.
Provides variety of project support assistance to team.
Demonstrates ability to utilize specialized and/ or more advanced software.

Works on problems of moderate scope, where data and situational analyses require reviewing a variety of factors.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Minimum Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associates degree and 4+ years related experience OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience.
