Job Description

• Preferably candidate who works with Builders / Main Contractors previously and familiarize with construction contracts
• Minimum of 2 years experience in QS with construction firm
• Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Office application
• Possess good interpersonal communications skills, initiative and able to work under minimum supervision

Responsibilities

• Liaise with consultants, sub-contractors and supplier.
• Sourcing and purchase items required in tender, monitor project costing and sourcing for suppliers and sub-contractors for successful completion of Projects.
• Monitoring projects progress claims, variation order, omission works and meet the projects handover date
• Pre-tendering process includes tender evaluation, calculation of quantities, checking the materials needed, price comparison, submission of tender and tender interview (if required).
• Work closely with site team
• Knowledge in preparing cost proposals for new projects
• Knowledge in prepare quotation and prepare tender documents are an added advantage
• Knowledge in landscapes works is an added value
• Knowledge in handling site paper works (PQP, Safety, etc)
