Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation, compilation, and submission of tender documents, ensuring compliance with client and project requirements.
Conduct detailed cost analysis, measurement, and pricing for tenders and proposals.
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to gather required information for accurate tender preparation.
Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify risks, requirements, and opportunities.
Ensure tender submissions are accurate, competitive, and delivered within deadlines.
Evaluate and recommend subcontractors' and suppliers' quotations for inclusion in tenders.
Provide technical and commercial input to support management in decision-making during tender negotiations.
Maintain updated knowledge of market rates, industry trends, and cost data.
Ensure compliance with
JKR guidelines, specifications, and requirements
where applicable.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum
5 years of relevant experience
in quantity surveying, tender preparation, and submission.
Strong understanding of tendering processes, cost estimation, and contract administration.
Familiarity with
JKR standard requirements and specifications
is a strong plus.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS software.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Able to work independently under tight schedules and handle multiple tenders simultaneously.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
