SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS) JOB DESCRIPTION

Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
Breakdown Bill of Quantities from drawing provided.
Prepare and submit VO to Telco and follow up for approval.
Negotiating and analyzing costs for each VO.
Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labor costs.
Verify quantity and join for site acceptance with contractors and Telcos.
Price or forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the projects.
Establish the standard schedule of rates for all Telcos.
Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly.
Create VO template for each Telco according to the standard schedule of rates approved.
Update VO tracker on weekly basis in making sure that everything is on track.
Review and maintain the accuracy of VO documents, editing where necessary.
Carries out other related duties and traveling from the office to various sites as required.
