A forward thinking company that specializes in the engineering construction contractor sector and consultation of real estate are looking for a Quantity Surveyor Manager to be part of their team that has extensive industry experience, strong business expertise and long-lasting partnerships with renowned firms in architecture, interior design, landscaping, civil engineering, and construction guarantee that all their projects maintain the highest level of quality.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible to accurately estimate costs, handle finances, and ensure compliance with project contracts
• Overseeing and directing the quantity surveying activities of the group, while also providing counsel and assistance to the construction team
• Assuring that all project objectives are fulfilled
• Directing and coordinating project teams comprised of consultants from different fields, typically documenting and reviewing reports before submitting them for approval
• Monitor construction manager\'s progress in relation to the critical route, as well as the master program, procurement, and master schedules.
• Get certifications and legislative approvals from the appropriate authorities.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the Building Contract, including its responsibilities, rights, and execution approach
• Review construction drawings and documentation and identify any hazards, material resources and project budget expenses
• Participate in joint site appraisals and visits to advice the general manager or director on matters related to the contractor\'s interim claims.
• Carry out all work constructions, policies, and procedures outlined in the company\'s quality management system.
• Responsible and deliver proposals, progress reports, and other necessary documents

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• 8 years\' relevant experience in construction management or property and township development
• Extensive background in land development, building, and contract administration
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Expertise with computer-aided design (CAD) software and Microsoft Project is a plus
