The Senior Real World Evidence (RWE) Research Analyst is responsible for the scientific and methodological aspects of all observational database analytics and RWE projects with minimal supervision.

Your Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Produce analytic deliverables, including full study reports for RWE projects/observational database analyses.
• Support project management by coordinating project activities and timelines as well as issue management.
• Accountable for the development of protocols, statistical analysis plans and analysis specifications for observational database analyses aligned with Real World Evidence (RWE) generation objectives across the organization with no supervision.
• Develop project timelines together with the RWE Scientific Data Analyst.
• Appropriately track communications with the customer as well as project related decisions taken.
• Conduct project feasibility assessments using analytic tools.
• Conduct observational data analyses and oversee data management and statistical programming activities.
• Independently conduct data quality reviews with detailed documentation.
• Present research and analysis results to customers and stakeholders.
• Produce analysis datasets, listings, tables, and figures for research projects, according to specifications, while maintaining documentation and complying with pre-defined project / study standards.

Minimum requirements

What you\'ll bring to the role:

• Bachelor\'s degree plus 5+ years conducting research in the pharma industry, contract research organization, or academic institute; or experience in a closely related discipline within the pharma industry (e.g., clinical research, statistics, epidemiology, pricing).
• Track record of operational excellence in field of analytics (strong programming skills in SAS, and other data management and statistical applications; programming knowledge in either R, STATA, or WinBUGs is a plus).
• Experience with data from electronic medical records, registry databases, and external insurance claims databases for health outcomes research. Additional experience in epidemiology, market research, or clinical research is a plus.
• Experience in the application of statistical methods to the analysis of observational data.
• Expert in applied statistics. Extensive experience in the application of statistical methods for analysis of observational data including propensity scores, sensitivity analyses, etc. is a plus
