Make it your story.This position reports toSegment Sales Manager - HUB AsiaYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective sales strategy Turbine Control Solutions (TCS) and Vibration Monitoring solutions for Gas and steam turbines across the APAC region. You will have hands-on experience in turbine control replacement projects and an understanding of hydraulic modifications related to turbine systems of major OEMs and perform site surveys, deliver technical presentations, and be accountable for achieving regional sales targets. The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries Division of ABB, across Asia Pacific Region. You will be mainly accountable for: Meeting and exceeding sales targets for turbine control solutions, focusing on replacement and upgrade projects within the assigned region. Leading customer engagements with in-depth expertise on gas and steam turbine control replacement projects, including system retrofits and hydraulic modifications. Performing detailed site surveys to assess turbine control systems and recommend optimal replacement or upgrade solutions, ensuring hydraulic modifications are considered when necessary. Providing expert-level technical presentations to end-users and stakeholders, clearly explaining the technical aspects of turbine control solutions and hydraulic upgrades. Identifying new sales opportunities for replacement projects through regional sales managers or account managers leveraging existing knowledge of turbine systems and market demands. Collaborating with internal proposal teams to develop competitive, tailored proposals based on customer-specific requirements and technical constraints. Building strong relationships with end-users as the go-to technical sales expert for turbine control systems and hydraulic upgrades. Negotiation & Closing: Lead commercial negotiations to close deals on turbine control replacement projects, ensuring customer requirements are met while maximizing profitability. Working closely with engineering, services, and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. Conducting market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and ensure a competitive positioning for the company's solutions.
