JOB DESCRIPTION
The Software Developer at RP Info is in charge of developing, maintaining, fixing, and improving proprietary software and mobile/web-based applications to meet the needs of our customers.

This position entails involvement in new program/software development as well as adaptation activities on existing software to facilitate implementation in a customer\'s specific environment.

Peer review exists at this level including code and design review. Developers who are enthusiastic about learning new technology and challenging their own skills are welcomed and encouraged to apply for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test and maintain front-end/back-end application features using front-end/back-end framework and libraries.
• Participate in the full application development life cycle, including technical design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and support.
• Research and explore new technologies in line with the software strategy and development direction.
• Work closely with the customer to understand their business requirements and solve the identified business problems with a focus on delivering results.
• Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organisation.
• Provide basic IT support to the customer when necessary, such as printing service setup, office software tool installation, etc., which is mostly implementable through remote access.

JOB QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of software design and development experience/familiarity with either one of the essential skills listed below.
• For Malaysia Citizens only.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in mobile/web-based application development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java.
• Proficiency in back-end application development with PHP, MySQL.
• Experience to operate in Unix/Linux environment.
• Familiarity with using various software tools, libraries, and frameworks as stated below will be an added advantage :

-- Tools : Git, phpMyAdmin, etc,
-- Libraries : jQuery, Bootstrap, React, Numeral.js, Moment.js, etc,
-- Frameworks : jQWidgets, React-Native, etc.
