Serving as a liaison between business squad and developer
To provide subject matter expertise to Business functions - integral interface between business users and IT to lead and assist in the design, development, implementation and on-going use of IT applications and solutions.
Support the Squad lead in managing and track all change request delivery.
Provide application support, participate in application customization and integration, user training, installation, implementation support and maintenance to ensure the system availability as per agreed SLA.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Requirement Gathering
Manage manufacturing and delivery of IT application, change requests, internally and with SBU Engagement Manager/SMEs to ensure the consistency and proper functioning of the application system and to meet Business needs.
Complete understanding of systems usage as it relates to day to day business operations and advocating improvements to optimise efficiency and effectiveness of the solution.
Develop technical solution within the boundaries of the existing ecosystem
Evaluating business process, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas of improvement, developing and implementing solutions.
Engage with Squad Lead to develop and manage request deliverables, plan and timeline
Applications Architecture
Perform planning/enhancement of Group IT solutions architecture
& develop technical solution within the boundaries of the existing ecosystem
Perform development and control best-of-class applications development and management methodologies
Application and Systems Development
Support of IT application development functions (plan, organize, outsource management and monitor development projects according to set standards)
Application customization includes analysis of customization requests and writing of amendment/program specifications, designing, coding and testing of complex programs.
Manage opportunities to improve / enhance existing systems
Services include application customization and integration, user training, installation, live implementation support and maintenance.
Manage and resolve application issues
Manage production system SLA
Provide post-implementation support to the business users related to their areas of supports.
Ensure compliance to all processes, audit and risk matters in the execution of user story.
Applications Maintenance and Support
Perform efficient and effective first and-or second level support for applications
Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Technology/IT/Engineering
Minimum 8 years of working experience in software development in vendor environment or banking industries
Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry:
Other skills required:
DB programming -Oracle 12-19c platform or Microsoft SQL
Java programming language
Business domain Retail Loan Origination is an advantage
Strong analytic and problem solving skill.
Working experience with Agile environment
Good communication skill.
Good knowledge with decision engine, retail loans, ccris and ctos gateway is an added advantage
