Primary Objective:

• Provide application support, participate in application customization and integration, user training, installation, implementation support and maintenance to ensure the system availability as per agreed SLA.
• Manage manufacturing and delivery of IT application, change requests, internally and with SBU Engagement Manager/SMEs to ensure the consistency and proper functioning of the application system and to meet Business needs.
• Able to lead junior for project / changes delivery. Able to work alone/with team on given small to medium assignments and escalating options for best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Applications Architecture

• Perform planning/enhancement of Group IT solutions architecture
• Perform development and control best-of-class applications development and management methodologies

Application and Systems Development

• Perform the development of enterprise class applications and integration in line with Group IT solutions architecture
• Support of IT application development functions (plan, organize, outsource management and monitor development projects according to set standards)
• Operational efficiency of applications delivery
• Manage opportunities to improve / enhance existing systems
• Services include application customization and integration, user training, installation, live implementation support and maintenance.
• Application customization includes analysis of customization requests and writing of amendment/program specifications, designing, coding and testing of complex programs.
• Manage and resolve application issues
• Manage production system SLA

Applications Maintenance and Support

• Perform efficient and effective first and-or second level support for applications

Requirements

Requirements:

Formal Education:

• A technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience and a minimum of 5 years related experience or
• A Master's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience

Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry):

• 5 or more years' experience in writing code using languages such as (and not limited to) Java, C/C. Perl, etc., and markup languages (HTML, XML)

Other skills required:

• Ability to work with web-development tools for new applications
• A good technical understanding of payment gateway business
• Experience in Cards payment system like Credit card, debit card, Loyalty, System interface and integrated secure 3D hosting and their accompanying periphery system
• Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies
• Experience on one of more full release project life cycles
• Basic understanding of testing tools and unit integration test scripting, and testing methodologies
• Ability to work effectively in a team and with business partner
