Job summary:

Overall responsibility and operation management and projects of global Linux Systems Infrastructure (e.g. RHEL, VMWare, monitoring and etc). Oversee a team of Linux technical/professional teams to ensure availability of 24/7 business operations. Business metrics: Business metrics relevant to achieving the essential accountabilities below

General responsibilities:

• Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources

• Commission, maintain and support operating environment (e.g. RHEL, VMWare, monitoring, RedHat PaceMaker and etc), system and global application to ensure high availability and performance

• Manage day-to-day operations, administration, tuning and capacity management for all systems ensuring good performance

• Ensure timely escalation and resolution of issues according to service level objectives

• Develop, maintain disaster recovery procedure for all identified critical systems

• Adhere to established best practices, procedures, guidelines and compliance to audit and industry standards (GDPR, CSV, ICS, CIS, etc.)

• Perform Problem management to identify root cause and provide a permanent/long term resolution

• Drive and improve Systems operations efficiency

Leadership responsibilities:

Manages team, stakeholders well, able to interact with diverse groups and collaborates effectively.

Functional skills and knowledge:

• Excellent communication skills to gather architectural requirements and interpreting requirements to stakeholders

• Experience in presenting solutions architecture to peers and senior management

• Experience with Cloud, HyperVisor and RHEL technology.

• Experience with scripting and automation (E.g. Ansible) is a plus Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Computing/Information Technology or its equivalent Work experience: At least 2 years\' experience in managerial role/position
