Job Description

About the Role:Responsible for tax compliance, supporting the regions covered by the Association ( the US, UK, Europe, APAC and Africa) with an emphasis on indirect tax (VAT/GST/Sales Tax). Collaborate and support wider tax matters with the Tax Leads of each region as part of the global tax team. You will report to Lead Tax Manager - Tax (KL)You Will:

• Support with the preparation and filing of VAT/GST/Sales Tax returns in different jurisdictions (UK, US, Europe, APAC, Africa)
• Support with direct tax and WHT filings
• Assess existing tax compliance processes, suggesting and implementing improvements, establishing and documenting processes
• Analyse transactions for proper indirect tax, including reverse charge VAT; partner with IT and other teams to address issues and ensure accurate reporting
• Complete monthly reconciliations of tax accounts
• Respond to tax queries from within the business
• Support on global tax projects
• Monitor sales activities and help file registrations

You Have:

• Higher level education or certification in Tax and Accounting
• In-house experience
• Knowledge in using a tax engine such as Vertex
• Corporation tax experience
• Oracle ERP experience
• Transfer pricing experience
