Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior System Analyst with a strong background in system design, impact analysis, and technical documentation to support digital banking initiatives. The ideal candidate should have solid experience working with Java and Spring Boot in enterprise environments and should be capable of bridging business requirements with technical solutions. Experience in both Agile and Waterfall (Scrum) environments is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the solution design process for digital banking systems. Conduct impact analysis and document system and functional specifications. Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to translate business needs into technical requirements. Ensure clarity, completeness, and traceability of all requirements. Support development and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies or traditional Waterfall planning as required. Provide post-implementation support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

Java & Spring Boot (Mandatory): Strong hands-on experience in backend development and system analysis. J2EE, JavaScript, CSS, XML, SQL, Unix Scripting (Good-to-have): Useful for understanding front-end to back-end flow and debugging.

Oracle Database

: Able to write and analyze SQL queries and work with data models.

OS

: Familiar with HPUX, Linux, Solaris for basic navigation, log analysis, and troubleshooting.

Functional & Analytical Skills Solution Design (Mandatory):

Able to convert business needs into technical designs and process flows.

Impact Analysis (Mandatory):

Understand system dependencies and assess change impacts.

Documentation

: Experience in writing clear and structured system and functional specs.

Agile/Waterfall (Optional

): Comfortable working in both delivery models.

Digital Banking (Optional):

Exposure to retail or investment digital banking systems is a plus.
