Job Description


Overview:

Supports business group in proactively sourcing, identifying and acquiring the talent necessary to meet business needs. Through interaction with internal and external stakeholders ensures that the company\'s diversity philosophy is communicated and that action goals are obtained.

Operations/ Administration:

  • Reviews applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
  • Communicates appropriately to internal candidates.
  • Conducts pre-screening interviews.
  • Conducts reference and background checks for potential employees.
  • Writes and forwards rejection letters.
  • Coordinates the interviewing process.
  • Coordinates the preparation and sending of offer packages.
  • Leads the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
  • Efficiently and effectively fills open positions.
  • Conducts regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Posts openings in newspaper advertisements, Internet sources and with professional organizations.
  • Coordinates with HR Compensation on relocation packages, compensation packages.
  • Network through Industry Contacts, Association Memberships, Trade Groups and Employees.
  • Locates and documents where to find ideal candidates.
  • Supports the establishment of a recognizable "employer of choice" reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
  • Communicates with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
  • Creates contacts within industry.
  • Attends local professional meetings and membership development meetings.
  • Maintains regular contact with possible future candidates.
  • Promotes employee referral program.

Diversity Management:
  • Executes diversity initiatives and staffing programs as required.
  • Supports HR Leadership Team in the development and implementation of plans / programs to meet company\'s goals.
  • Monitors organizational diversity objectives and progress in these areas that are specifically related to hiring; executes corrective action plans to improve performance in this area.

Employment Processes:
  • Recommends and implements process improvements for employment operations
  • Reports to key stakeholders on staffing initiatives and results.
  • Recommends process improvements that are in compliance with company policies.
  • Communicates and interacts regularly with the management/HR Directors of assigned client groups in order to identify emerging employment process issues.
  • Works with HR leaders to identify and incorporate recruitment staffing benchmarks, metrics, goals and best practices.
  • Responsible for employment data accuracy and integrity.
  • Partners with HR Subject Matter Experts (Generalists / Compensation) to ensure that job descriptions for posted positions accurately reflect roles and responsibilities.
  • Assists in campus recruitments

  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Able to prepare/analyze appropriate reports and other business correspondence.
  • Knowledge and/or expertise in related area of responsibility.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
  • Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results.
  • PHR or SPHR preferred.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
