Join us as a Senior Tax Specialist in our Excellence Centre in the APAC region. In this role, you\'ll manage and execute transfer pricing strategies and compliance for our global operations. Your responsibilities include collaborating with the Finance team to guarantee that our transfer pricing policies comply with existing tax laws and regulations, ensuring effective implementation across our international entities.

Responsibilities and challenges

Our global Excellence centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia will be covering our Asia/Pacific operations and also cover global processes, such as accounts payables, intercompany transactions, fixed assets and accounts receivables.

Key Responsibilities:

Transfer Pricing Compliance:

  • Develop and implement transfer pricing policies and strategies.
  • Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation for compliance with various jurisdictions.
  • Conduct transfer pricing analysis and benchmarking studies
Advisory and Strategy:
  • Provide insightful advice transfer pricing implications of new business initiatives and transactions.
  • Support in developing strategies to effectively manage risks associated with transfer pricing.
  • Keep abreast with global transfer pricing developments and advise on potential impacts.
Audit and Litigation Support:
  • Support in managing transfer pricing audits conducted by tax authorities.
  • Prepare responses to tax authority inquiries and assist in negotiations.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel on any transfer pricing litigation matters.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with finance, legal, and business units to ensure correct application of transfer pricing policies.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on transfer pricing matters.
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare and maintain required transfer pricing documentation and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with both internal and external regulations
Qualifications and personal skills

We are looking for a new colleague who have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master\'s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CTA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transfer pricing, international taxation, or a related field. Prior experience with one of the top 5 audit firms or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of international tax laws, particularly in transfer pricing.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
  • Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
