Senior Technical Analyst (AMLA)

About the Role

We are seeking a

Senior Technical Analyst (AMLA)

to lead and support application systems for

Compliance, Transaction Monitoring, and Customer Due Diligence (CDD)

. This role will manage IT projects, ensure system availability, and deliver solutions aligned with the bank's compliance requirements and business strategy.

You will play a key role in

application development, implementation, and BAU support

, while guiding technical teams and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver robust IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical teams in

developing, implementing, and supporting compliance-related applications

(local & regional). Ensure

high system availability

and performance according to agreed SLAs. Manage IT project tasks and deliverables, ensuring smooth project implementation within scope, time, and budget. Supervise technical teams, manage work assignments, and ensure quality output. Collaborate with business users to ensure systems meet

functional and compliance requirements

. Provide timely resolution of application issues and minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with IT standards, SDLC, security, and audit requirements. Support application BAU (bug fixes, enhancements, testing, and documentation).

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in

Information Technology or related field

.

Experience:

6-10 years of experience in

application development, planning, testing, and IT project management

. Strong hands-on experience with: Microsoft Windows, Solaris, RedHat, Unix/Linux Oracle FCCM Suite, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle/MS SQL databases Shell scripting, SQL/PLSQL, Batch jobs AML/KYC/CDD, Data Warehouse/ETL concepts

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

IT application architecture, design, and development

. Experience in

SDLC and Agile methodologies

. Proficiency in

manual & automation testing

(Selenium, Cucumber, JIRA, Confluence). Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to manage high-volume project deliverables and BAU support.

Certifications (Preferred):

AML/CFT knowledge PMP, Agile, or related certifications (advantageous)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
