From comprehending customer requirements to spearheading the growth of our sales engineering function, you\'ll collaboratively work with sales teams to guide clients from consultation to integration, ensuring exceptional experiences at every stage. What will you be doing: Analyzing and interpreting customer\'s technical requirements during the sales process, ensuring customer agreement on Reap as the optimal choice, and tailoring Reap API solutions to directly target distinct business challenges. Proactively building partnerships with sales counterparts, engaging in ongoing discussions about opportunities, needs, and feedback to enhance the selling cycle collaboratively. Serving as the technical point of contact to assist the sales team with prospects from pre-sale stages through post-sale integration with clients. Driving the establishment and growth of the sales engineering team, taking charge of shaping practices, fostering innovation, and promoting excellence in Reap API product solutions. Assuming ownership of API documentation and guidance, playing a pivotal role in helping customers succeed with the Reap API solution. Providing strategic insights to internal product teams to accelerate time to market, eliminate friction, and enhance the overall client experience with Reap API solution. Translating customer needs and issues to the product team, ensuring a continuous improvement of the product offering aligned with the market\'s demands. If the details below describe you, you could be a great fit for this role: Technical degree required ; a background in computer science or engineering with a strong focus on API development is highly desired. 5+ years experience working with API products in a customer-facing engineering role. Deep understanding of API architecture , particularly in relation to card issuance or similar financial technology products. Proficiency in major programming languages commonly used in API integrations. Exceptionally empathetic toward customer needs, driven by a desire to support their success. Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical complexities into solutions that resonate with clients. Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal; fluency in English is a must, and strong written and verbal Mandarin skills are highly beneficial. Strong writing skills , with an emphasis on producing clear and concise API documentation. Experience thriving in a dynamic environment and embracing a startup mentality.
