Primary Task:
Supervision of technical support team, including managing workflow, review work performance and relocation task if any of Technical Support is not available.
Managing and supervising technical support team for the preparation of tender / proposal in response to ITBs and RFQs received from clients.
Managing Workflow: Daily monitoring of enquiries which closing date is falling on that week. Query Technical Support if submission is not on time and if there is any difficulty encountered in preparation of quote.
Assist in problem solving by consulting with sale in charge and/or Technical Manager.
Performance review: To review the performance of Technical Support Engineers within specified interval.
Managing Technical Support Workload: To review daily workload of Technical Support Team and to relocate task if there is any sign of work overload or Technical Support Engineer is on leave & unavailable.
Secondary Task:
Fully responsible for technical support for products under the Company's principals.
Responsible for the submission of bid tender and bid clarification timely and accurately.
To prepare and update Internal Documents for compliance tender submission requirements.
Responsible for projects assigned and ensure all projects should have the mechanism to monitor the progress.
To perform site visit as and when required by the clients.
To attend Technical Meeting with clients / principals.
Responsible to coordinate and work closely with operation supports with regards to Logistics, Invoices, and POs etc. To prepare the documentations and forward to Operations to invoice clients.
To work closely with Head of Business Unit and Technical Sales Engineer on the preparation of tender bid and to update if there is any new update on the products and services.
To respond on time the Technical Clarification (TC) submitted by Clients. To ensure principal responds on time.
To update ITB and RFQ status.
To search and communicate with sub-vendor / contractors or equipment suppliers for alternative to supply the products which is not in the principals' range of products.
To assist other Technical Support Engineers / Executives if they require advice and help on the submission of tender bid.
What we require?
At least a Degree in any Engineering Discipline or related science degree.
Preferably with 4-5 years of working experiences, especially in proposal and tendering.
Proficient in contract terms review and negotiations to close orders.
