Responsibilities

1. Advanced Technical Support

Perform complex troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic systems.

Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring equipment issues.

Assist engineers in testing, commissioning, and validation of new equipment or systems.

2. Maintenance & Equipment Management

Lead preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.

Ensure critical equipment is operating efficiently and within specification.

Supervise equipment calibration and upgrades with minimal disruption to operations.

3. Project & Engineering Support

Support implementation of engineering changes, process improvements, and installations.

Collaborate with engineers on design reviews, trial runs, and production testing.

Prepare technical reports, assist with data collection, and analyze system performance.

4. Team Leadership & Training

Mentor and guide junior technicians and new team members.

Provide technical training on equipment handling, troubleshooting, and safety practices.

Act as the first point of contact for escalated technical issues from the shop floor.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, downtime events, and spare parts usage.

Assist in the preparation of SOPs, checklists, manuals, and technical documentation.

Ensure proper filing of reports and engineering documentation for audit and compliance.

6. Quality & Safety Compliance

Ensure all work complies with ISO, GMP, or other applicable standards.

Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and ensure safe work practices are followed.

Report incidents, near misses, and equipment faults in a timely manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
