Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is recruiting on behalf of a leading international food ingredient manufacturing company. Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Professional with at least 10 years\' experience in the dairy R&D industry to be based in Klang, Malaysia. Other than product development, as a Senior Technologist, you will have an opportunity to travel to provide support for their esteemed clients internationally.

:

• Dairy Specialist having good knowledge of food ingredients in creams, plant based analogues, and beverages applications among others.
• Provision of technical support and trouble-shooting to customers.
• Conduct product evaluation and analysis in various dairy/dairy analogue applications and recommend appropriate formulations/products
• Able to support evaluation and documentation of test outcomes with report preparation.
• To develop application formulations/recipes, new product developments and ingredient replacement in dairy/dairy analogue applications among others.
• Provide technical training to distributors and sales team on the application of emulsifiers and food ingredients in dairy/dairy analogue applications among others.
• Manage lab instrumentation, equipment, consumables and ingredients in the dairy/dairy analogue application lab.
• Some international travel is required for this position.
• To perform any other duties as and when required.

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Food Technology / Food Science, or relevant background.
• Candidates with 5 years or more of industrial relevance, strong analytical and problem solving skills will be preferred.
• Candidates with practical experience in dairy/dairy analogue products among others have an added advantage.
• Candidates with experience from the Emulsifier, Stabilisers or Food Ingredients industries have an added advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work independently and with good communication skills.
