Role Overview

We are looking for a

Senior Test Analyst

to join our QA team in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves handling multiple QA projects, ensuring quality across functional and non-functional testing, and driving automation initiatives. You will collaborate with business users, developers, and project stakeholders, while also mentoring junior testers.

Key Responsibilities

Understand business requirements and contribute to test strategy, planning, and estimation. Prepare test data, design test cases, and develop test scripts. Perform manual and automated testing (functional, regression, and non-functional). Work with automation tools such as

Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber BDD, Cypress, Protractor, Nightwatch

. Conduct API testing and automation using

Postman, Rest-Assured, SOAP UI, KARATE

. Perform Mobile UI automation using

Appium

and cloud mobile platforms (BrowserStack, Perfecto). Manage test results, track defects in

JIRA/Zephyr

, and ensure timely closure. Participate in UAT support, defect triage meetings, and provide progress updates to stakeholders. Work with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo) and version control (Bitbucket, Git, SVN). Ensure test deliverables (plans, cases, reports) meet required quality standards. Mentor and coach junior QA team members.

Requirements

3+ years

of hands-on experience in Software Testing & QA. Strong knowledge of

STLC, Agile, and Waterfall

methodologies. Experience in automation testing (UI, API, Mobile). Proficiency in

SQL/No-SQL databases

. Familiar with CI/CD and version control tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Domain knowledge in Insurance

is an added advantage.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
