Location: Ipoh, MalaysiaOur Team:Semtech\xe2\x80\x99s Advanced Mixed-Signal, Sensing and Wireless Business Unit is a group of passionate and talented engineers tasked to develop and deliver industry-leadingintegrated circuits (IC) for high performance analog, mixed-signal, RF semiconductor and advanced algorithms for infrastructure, high-end consumer, and industrial end market application hardware, dedicated to providing customers with high quality proprietary solutions and breakthrough technology.Job Summary:The Senior Test Engineer is responsible for developing ATE testing solution for new product evaluation, qualification, production manufacturing, as well as technical guidance and leadership. • Develop test hardware and program for different integrated ICs for prototype evaluation, characterization, and production testing
• Define and specify test plans and documents for new product production release
• Collaborate with different function groups to provide testing support for different projects
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to resolve any issues associated with testing
• Investigate testing related issues with detailed analysis and publish summary report
• Perform correlation and repeatability to set proper production test limits
• Develop, document, implement, and support standardized test methodologies
• Manage vendors to ensure expected outcomes in terms of schedule and resolutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. or higher degree in Electrical Engineering with extensive 10+ years of working experience
• Experience of 5+ years in development of ATE test solutions for analogue and mixed-signal IC\xe2\x80\x98s manufacturing testing environment, with preferably a good experience in RF and/or high-power test as well
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical circuits and Analog / Digital / RF / Power IC testing methodologies incorporated with high volume production techniques and requirements
• Extensive knowledge in designing test hardware and test fixtures
• Proven programming skills in C/C++/VBA
• Good understanding of working theory of semiconductor devices and reliability testing
• Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills with the ability to proactively solve issues
• Strong background in statistical data analysis using statistical tools including Excel
• Familiar with different lab instruments and ATE testers, if possible Teradyne Flex and/or Advantest A93K
• Quick learner of new technical skills including new instruments and software
• Effective verbal and written communication to interface at all levels within the organization
• Team player with a strong sense of urgency to meet product requirements on schedule
• Experience in working with international and cross-functional teams
• Strong interest in or already have experience in mentorship and team leadership

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office\xe2\x84\xa2 products - Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, Project
