Responsibilities

As a Senior Web Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading our digital initiatives. Beyond writing code, you'll be responsible for setting technical direction, mentoring team members, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-performance solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading the development of robust, maintainable, and high-quality code aligned with modern standards and best practices. Driving collaboration with designers and properties to deliver seamless, visually compelling, and user-friendly web experiences. Architecting and integrating complex systems, APIs, and data flows between front-end and back-end platforms. Translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, while advising stakeholders on technical feasibility and best approaches. Providing technical leadership to junior web developers, including code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing. Ensuring cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive compatibility across all digital solutions. Overseeing website performance, optimization, scalability, and security to support business growth. Staying ahead of emerging technologies and frameworks, and proactively recommending innovative solutions to enhance the company's digital presence. Partnering with design and UX teams to ensure high standards of usability, accessibility, and brand consistency.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree or equivalent experience is an advantage). 5+ years of professional web development experience, with proven success in delivering enterprise-level projects. Expertise in core technologies:

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)

. Advanced knowledge of at least one modern front-end framework:

React, Vue, or Angular

. Strong experience with back-end frameworks:

Node.js, PHP/ASP.NET, or Ruby on Rails

. Deep experience with

Content Management Systems (CMS)

such as WordPress, WebFlow, or enterprise platforms. Solid experience building and consuming

RESTful APIs

(GraphQL experience is a plus). Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases (

MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

), with a strong focus on data integrity and security. Strong understanding of

Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control (Git)

. Familiarity with

cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of

UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design best practices

. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
