Job Summary



The Service Crew is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the restaurant's reputation for quality service, cleanliness, and hospitality. The Service Crew works closely with the kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth daily operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding seats.

- Present menus, take accurate food and beverage orders, and relay them promptly to the kitchen.

- Serve dishes and drinks efficiently and courteously.

- Attend to customer requests, inquiries, and feedback in a professional manner.

- Ensure every guest has a positive and memorable dining experience.

Order & Table Management

- Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and ready for the next guests.

- Clear used plates, cutlery, and glasses promptly.

- Assist in managing table turnover during busy hours.

- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and cashier for smooth order flow and billing.

Cleanliness & Hygiene

- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, service stations, and cashier counter.

- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.

- Ensure proper handling of utensils, plates, and serving tools.

- Support end-of-day cleaning and setup for the next shift.

Teamwork & Coordination

- Work closely with fellow service crew members, kitchen staff, and management.

- Support other team members during peak hours to ensure efficient service.

- Participate in staff briefings, meetings, and training sessions as required.

Cashiering & POS Handling

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for order entry and payment.

- Handle cash, credit card, and e-payment transactions responsibly.

Issue receipts and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts.

Stock & Supplies

- Monitor stock levels of service items (napkins, cutlery, condiments, etc.) and report shortages to the supervisor.

- Assist in restocking and organizing supplies when needed.

Requirements

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant, cafe, or hospitality environment (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).

- Strong customer service and communication skills.

- Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for serving people.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
