Responsibilities
Warmly welcome and seat guests at their tables, provide menus, and inform them of the daily specials or promotional dishes.
Listen attentively to guests\' food and beverage preferences, answer menu-related questions, and accurately take orders. Pay attention to any special dietary requirements or allergies.
Relay food and beverage orders to kitchen staff, ensuring that orders are prepared correctly and served promptly.
Serve orders quickly and accurately, ensuring that food presentation meets the restaurant\'s standards. Check orders for completeness and accuracy.
Maintain clean and tidy tables, promptly clearing empty dishes and glassware.
Attend to guests\' needs throughout their meal, such as promptly refilling drinks, providing extra condiments, or addressing any issues or special requests.
Present the bill to guests when they are ready to pay, process payments accurately, and provide change or receipts.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service, communicate any special requests or order modifications to relevant staff members, and maintain a positive working environment.
Assist with restaurant opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and setting up tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the dining area is clean and well-maintained.
