Service Engineer

A Service Engineer is a technical professional responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment, machinery, and systems across diverse industries. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime for clients and operations. The Service Engineer will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

Install, Maintain, and Repair Equipment: Service engineers install, maintain, and repair complex systems and equipment, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. Diagnose and Troubleshoot Technical Issues: They effectively diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, employing advanced problem-solving techniques and diagnostic tools. Provide Technical Support and Training: Service engineers offer technical support and training to clients and internal teams on equipment usage, maintenance procedures, and best practices. Documentation and Reporting: They accurately document service activities, maintain detailed records, and generate reports on system performance and client feedback. Collaboration and Improvement: Service engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, product management) to develop solutions, enhance product features, and drive improvements in service delivery processes. Stay Updated on Industry Trends: They proactively stay informed about the latest technological advancements, industry trends, and best practices to maintain a high level of service delivery.
Required skills and qualifications

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software systems, including networking protocols, systems architecture, and troubleshooting methodologies. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and diagnostic abilities to efficiently identify and resolve technical issues. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with clients and convey complex technical concepts clearly. Customer Service Skills: A customer-focused approach with the ability to manage expectations and provide a positive customer experience. Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field is typically required or preferred. Experience: Prior experience in a service engineering or technical support role is typically preferred.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
