Job Description

The Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for various laboratory instruments and equipment. This role involves installing, calibrating, repairing and conducting regular preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance. The Service Engineer troubleshoots technical issues, responds to customer inquiries and provides training to users on operation and maintenance.

• Proactively address customer complaints and provide support to the sales department, ensuring timely resolution of issues and collaborating closely with the team to ensure customer contentment.
• Thoroughly examine and address technical product concerns raised by customers via email communication, implementing proactive measures and appropriate solutions.
• Conduct routine quality visits to key clients, compile and synthesise post-sales product concerns, liaise with technical, production, and R&D teams, and contribute recommendations for product enhancement.
• Create diverse materials, including documents, videos, inspection reports, and English service manuals, essential for customer\'s technical support needs.
• Systematically categorise and analyse post-sale maintenance fault data, offering valuable insights to the company\'s quality department for the enhancement of product quality.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical, Pharmaceuticals or a related field accompanied by relevant experience in life sciences.
• An established candidate with experience in sales and people management with strong professional network within the life science industry.
• Outstanding ability in dealing with end users, distribution channels and network nationwide.
• Strong business acumen and deep industry knowledge with proven track record of driving the sales process from planning to successful sales achievements.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively and convincingly at all levels of the organisation.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (speaking) and English (speaking, reading, writing).
