Job Description

The company is seeking a service engineer for supporting their regional as well as worldwide customers. The ideal candidate is one having wide experience on both Automation and Control systems. Hands-on service or operational experience on Automations and thrusters is an advantage. The role also involves providing remote guidance/product support to customers as well as being part of a knowledge pool giving back-end support for the field service team.

Responsibilities:

Focus on customer support, commissioning and service on assigned company product range onboard vessels

Cover service activities in South East Asia region

and maintain good relationship with existing clients Workshop test and technical preparations Proper preparation and execution of work assigned and ensure performance are met at all times Responsible for generation of service reports, update drawings, cable information database and relevant technical documents Provides remote guidance / product support to customers and backend support to the service team Assist our sales department with technical issues Handling pre and post administrative work Required to undertake ad-hoc duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

Min. Degree in

Electrical/Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronic

Engineering Min 3-5 years of working experience for automation systems (controls and propulsion), system process knowledge, distributed control systems and power management Relevant working experience in maritime industry is an advantage Must have excellent co-operative skills, good communication skills, result-oriented and self-motivated Meticulous & methodical approach to remote case handling. Self-driven attitude to find solutions to problems. Passion and patience for handling customers - Service minded On-board system process knowledge, experience with distributed control systems Ability to work independently

Able to travel on short notice and is willing to travel Asia

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
