Perform field service machine maintenance, calibration, and repair.
Carry out Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) - (including Metrotomography and optical microsystem), installation, commissioning, warranty support.
Support in local and regional exhibition and seminar
Support in planning the Service team\'s work activities by working closely with the Administrator.
Handle customers\' request based on priority and importance, or as requested by Service Manager
Support to enforce adherence to documented operation procedures and machine check lists
Monitor repair part failure frequency and make recommendation for stocking
Support to plan and recommend service tools requirement
Ensure calibration standards and tools validity
Collaborate & support the team in getting the job/request completed.
Coach & mentor new or junior engineer during onboarding.
Work closely with other departments i.e., Logistics, Finance, to complete the sales process.
Promote services and new service product to customer.
Administrative
Ensure Customer Care Ticket (CCT) & Service Order (SVO) are created before attending to job request.
Update SVO daily & submit Service Order Confirmation (SVOC) promptly for billing process.
Submit Customer Perfect Order (CPO) & draft commissioning certificate to Administrator for further processing immediately after each New CMM installation.
Prepare draft calibration report immediately after calibration service to Service Manager for approval
Support Administrator to generate quotation with recommended parts & labour charges.
Development & Training
Take initiative in updating one\'s own product & technical knowledge - CurioZ
Participate training program, workshop & seminar etc. as organized by the department or company.
Recommend training requirements based on I-Base
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company.
Job Requirements:
Education
At least a Diploma or Bachelor in Engineering Discipline \xe2\x80\x93 Preferable Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electronics / Electrical
Experience
At least 3-5 years experience working as customer care in field service support preferably in the metrology, precision or related industry with indept knowledge troubleshooting and diagnostics skills.
Minimum 3 year experience in the precision / manufacturing / Automotive / Aerospace / Oil & Gas industry in manufacturing field or production, CNC programming, CMM, CAD-CAM exposure, technical software training and support in the use of PC based tools.
Preferable with Metrology knowledge or experience in inspection processes in a Manufacturing environment. Worked on CMMs or Quality process instruments.
Other skills
Good communication & interpersonal skills. Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu. Knowing additional language will be an advantage.
Excellent in analytical and problem solving skills
Self-driven and result-orientated
Able to work independently and as a team
Possess a valid driving licence, with own car is an advantage.
Ability to read technical drawings
Excellent understanding of the customers requirements.
Basic knowledge on computer hardware and software.
Optional: CAD CAM exposure.
