Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Provide technical service support on schedule and at the highest levels of quality Plan and manage assigned projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and within scope of supply. Manage and co-ordinate with Nordson Direct Subsidiaries and Distributors in SEA. Provide service, trouble shooting, application and installations support. Conduct regular application and product technical training to ensure that customers are maintaining their equipment and optimizing its use. Provide regular feedback to sales and service team, highlighting unusual issues during regular/system integrator installation to report and develop action plan. Provide feedback to management market information gathered in the field, including any related activities by competition and of changes or improvements in Nordson products that may be desirable. Develop customer database, including types of equipment, parameter settings, type of guns, pumps, line speed, system integrator, material supplier etc used in all customer plants Maintain laboratory/test equipment in good working condition and work/service area as a conducive and safe environment. Submit weekly reports and other reports in a timely manner as required the supervisor. Be aware of inventory levels and advise customer service representative on critical parts to be kept in stock and available to fully support customer operation. Education & Experience Degree in Electrical/Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering at least 2 years working experience for senior engineer position Skills & Abilities Good command of both spoken and written English Proficient in Chinese language is an added advantage in order to liaise with counterparts/customers in China Sound technical service aptitude for industrial equipment Willing to travel overseas and possess own transport for travelling to local customers Travel Required Domestic: 30-70% International: 30-70%
