DescriptionPrimary Objective:

• Manage Group Payment and Operation Accounting Section.
• Counter authorise payment of invoices above RM500k.
• Oversee testing and implementation of EGL system in the section.
• Ensure submission of accurate schedules and analysis within deadline.
• Resolving work problems with team to enhance efficiency.
• Approving of Journals
• Assisting to response to queries on MOA
• Organising resources for work in the section.

Key Responsibilities:
Operations

• Successful and smooth implementation of EGL in the section.
• Ensure compliance of MOA by requestors.
• Timely submission of schedules and reports.
• Clarification of MOA to enquirers.
• Approving of Journals for all entities
• Ensure no issuance of cheque for payment unless unavoidable.
• Reconciling of AP Funding and Interco Accounts.
• Implement safeguards against late payment, error in payment or double payment.
• Problem solving with users with regards to usage of Oracle AP.
• Documentation of Decentralised procurement flow for benefits of branches.
• Process improvement and support Oracle AP
• Process improvement to generate various Business Intelligent (BI) reports
• Ensure team members observe bank policies.
• To support GST implementation in AP system
• To provide job-allocation and staff counseling for the section.

RequirementsRequirements:
Bachelor Degree - Any related field(s).

• Accounting degree and proficiency in English..
• Minimum of 3-5 years in Managerial experience in Finance/Accounts.

• Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Words and other accounting Systems
• System implementation experience
• Good leadership & people management skills
