Competencies Requirements (Education, Training and Experience):

1. Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field

2. Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in sheet metal fabrication or related industry.

3. Strong knowledge in fabrication processes such as cutting, bending, forming, and fitting.

4. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.

5. Hands-on leadership with good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Work Supervision & Coordination

Lead and supervise sheet metal workers and operators in daily production activities. Plan, assign, and monitor jobs according to production schedules and priorities. Ensure all work is performed based on engineering drawings and fabrication standards. Coordinate with other sections such as welding, assembly, and painting to ensure smooth workflow.

2. Technical & Production Support

Review fabrication drawings and identify potential issues before production. Ensure correct setup and operation of machines (shearing, bending, rolling, punching, etc.). Check dimensions, tolerances, and alignment of fabricated parts. Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to subordinates.

3. Quality Assurance

Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements. Report any non-conformance or rework issues to the supervisor or quality team. Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or contamination.

4. Safety & Housekeeping

Enforce compliance with safety rules and ensure all workers use proper PPE. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the fabrication area. Report unsafe practices, equipment malfunction, or incidents immediately.

5. Reporting & Documentation

Record daily production activities, manpower utilization, and material usage. Provide progress updates and feedback to the Factory Supervisor or Operation Head. Assist in inventory control of raw materials and consumables for sheet metal section.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
