Supervise and lead the team during assigned shifts
Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately at the counter or online orders.
Process orders using POS (Point-of-Sale) systems and handle cash or digital payments correctly.
Upsell combos, add-ons, or promotions to maximize sales.
Assemble and serve orders quickly, ensuring they meet quality and presentation standards. Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and staff.
Deliver excellent customer service and resolve any customer concerns or complaints promptly.
Manage cash handling, deposits, and end-of-shift financial reporting.
Food Preparation & Cooking:
Prepare menu items (burgers, fries, rice, chicken, wrap, beverages, etc.) according to standard recipes and procedures.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is safe and properly cooked.
Maintain consistency in portion sizes, food assembly, and presentation.
Follow strict food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Manage schedules, monitor stock levels, and do stock count (monthly, daily or weekly), anticipate the team's needs to keep operations running smoothly and minimizing wastage.
Fully aware of the knowledge of the menus in the outlet and understanding of ingredients used in all products.
Cleanliness & Sanitation:
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dining areas, counters, and restrooms as per cleaning schedules.
Dispose of waste and recyclables properly and safely.
Refill condiments, napkins, cups, lids, and other front-of-house supplies.
Follow opening and closing checklists to ensure a clean, safe environment.
Stock Rotation & FIFO:
Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) to all inventory and food storage procedures to ensure the oldest products are used first.
Monitor expiry dates, report spoiled or damaged goods, and discard items safely.
Assist in receiving, checking, and storing stock deliveries, ensuring correct labelling and storage.
Keep freezers, refrigerators, and dry storage organized and clean.
Training, Learning & Development:
Be willing to be taught and to learn -- including food prep, customer service, cleaning procedures, and safety protocols.
Accept guidance and feedback from person-in charges and experienced team members.
Participate in ongoing training, including health & safety, product knowledge, and service techniques. Enforce company policies and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Work closely and cooperate with other staff to achieve the highest possible satisfaction of food items.
Show initiative in developing new skills and adapting to changes in procedures or systems
Monitor labour and food costs to meet budget targets.
Train and coach crew members on policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
Teamwork & Support:
Collaborate with other team members to meet service times and customer satisfaction goals.
Follow instructions from person-in charges and assist team members during busy shifts.
Maintain a positive, can-do attitude in high-pressure situations
Be prepared to run a shift if needed, ensuring smooth operation and team coordination
Communicate effectively with management and team to ensure smooth shift transitions.
Handle opening and/or closing duties, including securing the premises.
Support the Restaurant Manager / Assistant Restaurant Manager in achieving sales and operational targets.
