Job Description

1. Handle and monitor all export shipments (Project, ST & MP)

DOCUMENTS:
a) Checking all import shipping documents (Invoice, PL, Insurance, COO) description and HS Code such as COO, Form D, Form AK, and etc.

b) Check all customs declaration form K1 to ensure correct HS Code, calculation of duty and sales tax.

c) Check customs declaration form (K1) to ensure that appropriate exemption clause and/or import duty clause is quoted in K1.

d) Prepare and update the packing list (Dimension, Weight, Quantity) for all project PB and MP.

e) Prepare packing checklist for each project after receive ML, PR, Micas List & Production checklist from purchasing department

MONITOR:
a) Liaise with vendor/supplier to ensure all shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, Form D, Marine Insurance Certificate and others) are in order for customs clearance.

b) Coordinate closely with Forwarding agent on the on-going import shipment including containers arrangement and update the all related parties

(Purchasing, Store, Production, Project , QA ) the latest status and arrival (Tubes/ Plates/ Others Import material)

c) Assist to obtain all required import permits for all processes eg.COA from SIRIM, and follow up import customs clearance

d) For delivery \xe2\x80\x93 Liaise with our transport/forwarding agent to ensure all cargoes reach to site safely.

e) Follow up with the Packing Hand on the status of items packed and key in all the data in to the Shipping Department Folder.

2. Files all import shipment documents and maintains a systematic documentation related to shipping activities.

3. Update and maintain the import shipment schedule once received information from suppliers/vendors.

4. Compile all supplier\xe2\x80\x99s invoices and submit to shipping manager for verification and approval prior submitting to Account department.

5. Prepare summary of packing & transport charges and submit to packing executive and shipping manager for verification and approval prior to the submission to Account department.

6. Assist Manager in preparing letters to vendors, freight forwarders and other parties.
