Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping Executive to manage and oversee all shipping and logistics activities. The role involves coordinating with freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective shipping of goods domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and monitor the shipment of goods.

Ensure accurate documentation for all shipments (e.g., invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, Bill of Lading, etc.).

Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport agencies to arrange pickups and deliveries.

Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.

Handle customs clearance procedures and ensure compliance with relevant import/export regulations including issuing CO and others relevant documents.

Resolve shipping issues, including delays, damages, or lost items.

Negotiate freight rates and contracts with logistics providers.

Maintain shipping records and prepare periodic reports.

Work with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure shipping schedules align with stock levels and customer requirements.

Maintain strong relationships with logistics vendors and service providers.

Continuously seek cost-saving opportunities in shipping and logistics operations.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.

2-4 years of experience in a similar shipping or logistics role.

Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, Incoterms, and customs regulations.

Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP systems (GSM, SYSPRO) is a plus.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
