Job Description

Shipment quotation enquiry and arrangement. Assist Senior Logistic Executive to liaise with freight forwarder, transporter & vessel agent/owner for import/export matter. Prepare Method of Statement for bidding process and shipment when required. Coordinate with Logistic Operation Executive pipes shipment arrangement activities. Review fixture note or BIMCO for vessel confirmation with ship owner. Attend port meeting with online or face to face when required. Update vessel schedule to relevant parties or department (Import & Export shipment). Coordinate shipment process with internal and external parties (port, ship owner and others. Any other task assigned from time to time by Senior Logistic Executive. Adhere to all the Quality/Safety & Environmental requirements
Requirements:-

Possess at least Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Logistic/Transportation or its equivalent. At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field. Strong leadership trait with the ability to coach and train team. Good leadership skill, proven track record in managing a team. Knowledgeable and familiar with incoterm, liner term and fixture note/BIMCO. Dynamic, self-motivated, initiative, pro-active and able to communicate effectively with all levels internal and external parties. IT exposure is required. Able to work independence with minimum supervision. Excellent written and command in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Strong analytical skill, negotiating skills, attention to details and is target oriented.
