Shipping Officer.
As a Shipping Officer, you will play a key role in coordinating the import and export shipments, inc. freight booking and documentation. We welcome junior talents for this role!
Industry: Manufacturing/Production (Precision Components)
Working Hour: Monday to Friday
Location: Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru
s:
- Execute booking instructions for import and export shipments based on the shipment schedule, including ocean freight, air freight, cross-border shipments, and trucking.
- Follow up on shipment movements and timely update changes to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Follow up on shipment issues related to freight booking, freight cost, delay, change of POD, etc.
- Request freight rates and schedules with the liner/forwarder on weekly/monthly basis.
- Ensure correct freight billing vs booking.
- Min. 2 years of relevant working experience in logistics/shipping/transportation function, preferably from manufacturing industry or relevant.
- Min. Diploma education level or above.
- Required language - English.
- Knowledge of import and export shipments is a must.
