The Shop Assistant

will support the Retail Store Manager in both retail floor operations and store handling activities. This includes assisting customers, managing inventory, topping up stock, and helping with loading tasks when required. The role requires good physical fitness and stamina, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as a part of a team.

Job Responsibilities:

Receiving, unpacking, and arranging new stocks delivered Labelling and arranging goods on the display shelves Assisting customers in finding the products they're looking for Addressing customer complaints and inquiries Topping up stock and ensuring sufficient product availability Opening the counter and preparing the store for daily operations Assisting with loading activities for incoming and outgoing goods Operating a forklift when required for stock movement Sharp, precise and very careful in handling the job Hardworking and positive in all instruction given Responsible for retail selling and maintaining store standards

Job Requirements:

Min SPM Age between 18-35 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Prior experience or basic knowledge in retail is an added advantage Can drive forklift and reachtruck Can read and write Physically fit and capable of handling moderate to heavy lifting
